Welcome to the Saulter Dental Hygiene Center. I am Linda Saulter RDH, IPDH and founder of the Saulter Dental Hygiene Center. I am a graduate of the University of Maine in 1985 and have since dedicated my career to providing exceptional dental care. Over the years I have gained extensive knowledge seeing a wide range of patients from periodontic, to pediatric patients and everything in between.
In 2008, I proudly opened the Saulter Dental Hygiene Center, becoming the first Independent practicing dental Hygienist in the state of Maine. This accomplishment followed my advocacy work, including providing testimony to pass the bill to allow Dental hygienist to work independently. My mission has always been to create a welcoming space where patients feel empowered and educated about their oral health.
Outside of the office, I lead a vibrant life. I’ve been married for 33 wonderful years to my husband, Dr. Jamie Saulter , who has been my rock and inspiration. Together, we have raised three amazing daughters and are now blessed with four grandchildren and two wonderful sons-in-law. ( hopefully adding one more in the near future)
When I am not working or spending time with my family, you’ll often find me embracing my hobbies. I’m passionate about skiing particularly at Sugarloaf, Maine, one of my favorite spots-tennis(playing on USTA teams), and dancing, with a special love for tap and jazz at Stage Presence for Dancers...

Denise Quinlan has over 35 years of experience in dental hygiene and is excited to share that with the Madison area. She grew up in Massachusetts where she attended Bristol Community college. After graduating in 1986, she began working for a general dentist in her hometown. That office is where she met her husband, Andrew.
After a few years, she was able to take advantage of the opportunity to work at the Naval Denal Center in Newport, RI. Denise was assigned the periodontal department of that facility which was an excellent environment to perfect her deep scaling and root planing skills.
In the late 90’s, her husband Andrew accepted a position with a national wholesale nursery. With that came across country move to Oklahoma. Denise and Andrew packed up their three children and left Cape Cod and headed to Tahlequah, OK. They spent about two years there and made sure to explore as much as possible because they knew their time there was limited. If you have not been to the Southwest, treat yourself! It is a different kind of beauty.
After Oklahoma, they were sent to Western Pennsylvania. While living there, they welcomed their youngest child, a little girl to join their three sons.
Living in different areas of the country helped them to understand that New England was home and that is where they should be. Denise had always wanted an old Farmhouse and that is exactly what they found. Since 2002, they have been raising their family in Cannan, Maine.
When she’s not working, that old farmhouse Denise keeps plenty busy. There is always a project that needs doing. Luckily, that’s a source of enjoyment for her. She also enjoys Kayaking and running. She usually spends her summers training for r fall half-marathon. Trying to finish around the two-hour mark is her goal and sometimes she’s pleasantly surprised to cross that finish line in less than two hours.
Staying active with both work and life is very important to her. That philosophy has been her saving grace with each move and new beginning. And now, a new beginning!

This business was started by the owner, Linda Saulter, IDPH in 2008.
Since then our dedicated, experienced and skilled team of hygienists have been providing exceptional preventative oral care for patients of any age.
